Therapeutic Coaching
If you are at a crossroads in your life or uncertain about which direction to take, the therapeutic coaching approach can help you find clarity and confidence in what truly feels right for you.
Perhaps you feel like you have lost your sense of who you are, or you are feeling ‘stuck’. Maybe you have experienced life-changing events and are looking to redefine your sense of purpose, or you’ve been presented with a decision that’s thrown everything into the air.
I offer coaching for adults who are looking to actively engage with change in their lives.
Coaching is often a good fit when you have a sense that something needs to shift – and you are ready to take steps towards that change.
The focus of coaching
Coaching is forward-looking and practical in its focus.
We work with what is happening in your life now, and what you would like to move towards. Together, we identify what may be getting in the way, and begin to find ways of working through it.
The work is structured and goal-oriented, while still allowing space for reflection and understanding. Coaching is ultimately about moving – even if that begins with small, steady steps.
How I work
My approach combines the structure of coaching with a psychological understanding of patterns, habits and behaviour.
This means we are not only looking at what you want to change, but also why it may feel difficult to do so.
I work in a collaborative and active way. Alongside reflection, we focus on:
- clarifying direction
- setting realistic goals
- building consistency
- supporting you in following through
Working together
Coaching works best when you are ready to engage actively in the process.
It involves showing up, reflecting honestly, and taking steps outside of sessions – even when that feels challenging.
The work is focused, practical, and shaped around your goals.
Sessions
Sessions are 60 minutes and usually take place weekly or fortnightly, and are held online (via Google Meet).
